OUR ROSE



Our blossomed Rose,  
Has now lost its beauty
In confusion  and pain
There is reality.
Imagining a world of fantasy
Smiling all through the fallacy
When you think its possible and real 
Then tears of sorrowful emotion
Sets in and washes away your passion.

Once upon a million years
Our hearts never crossed
But from that moment
Our hearts gazed at each other
We could never get enough
Of each others heartbeat

We yarned for our voices each day
It made us laugh and fulfilled
We just couldn't get enough

But now the truth sets in
And the pangs and hurts follows
Now we are forced to let go
Let go of our blossomed Rose
A beautiful thing that grew
As a result of our wonderful moments together

And now you are drifting away
And I'm ill
I haven't heard your heartbeat

I yarn to come to you
But the difference
Between my fantasy and reality hits me

And our Rose...
Once blossomed
Twice withered
