OVERCOMERS

 A wise female said;

"Although the world is full of suffering, 

Its is also full of the overcoming of it."

Fascination of a World, 

One that harbours, 

Both the Good and the Bad

But the wiser than the wisest, 

Giver of uncontentious remarks, 

Said;

"In the world, ye shall have tribulations, 

But be of good cheer, 

I have overcome the world"

Many a times, 

Feet are swept off by struggles, 

Hearts torn apart;

By Birds, Thorns and Rocks, 

Hands weakened from a stretch for alms, 

Eyes wearied;

Looking up to the vainness of man, 

Ears gone sour;

From the unfaithful promises of men.

But we have been uplifted, 

Through the love of the overcomer, 

To inherit all things, 

To be given a seat beside him on his throne, 

To be adorned in white raiment, 

To have satisfaction from  the Tree of Life, 

To be made a pillar of the Temple of God, 

To be conquerors of the World.

For the overcomer will not suffer thee, 

To be tempted above that ye are able, 

So, light thyself on fire with passion, 

And people shall come from miles to watch thee burn, 

Because ye are...
