"THE STORY"

“Dehm!!”? Tony Exclaimed “I didn’t know you were that bad. So what was your reaction when you saw them?”
“Luckily that night, I saw everything from the beginning”
“What did you see?” Tony’s eyes were wild open for an answer as Malia hesitated “wait, did she force herself on him?”
Malia nodded in an affirmative “When I saw it, I knew that was what she meant about not giving up without a fight. Although I was pissed off, but I relaxed a bit when Jeremy quickly pushed her away. And that was when they noticed my presence”
(Jeremy)
“After what happened, I knew if I wanted to keep my relationship intact with the lady I love, I had to cut tiles with Sofia as soon as possible”
“So what did you do” Eli asked
“I called Sofia during school section. I had to make things right quickly because I allowed things linger between us for too long and she took it as a leverage and did that nonsense. I was so pissed at her. And she knew it. I was disgusted at her sight when I saw her…”
(Sofia)
“With the look on his face, I knew Jeremy was ready to cut tiles with me that very instance. It was obvious his feelings for Malia could not be compromised. Jeremy has never been that angry at me ever before. In fact he has never been angry with me before. Even when we were dating, he always supported me and gave me a yes to everything. But when I saw his rage that day, I knew I couldn’t contend with that. Malia was right, I was just a crowd. This wasn’t my game to ever win.”
“Jeremy finally told me things between us had since been over, he made it so clear that Malia was the only person in his heart, and that he even saw a future with her. He said it right to my face…”
(Malia)
“When I caught them, I felt hit even if I knew what actually transpired. I tried to act bold so Sofia won’t sight a weakness in me. But to be honest, I had no strength in me that day. The only thing I could do was drag Jeremy out of her clutches. I didn’t say a single word to him throughout and for a week. Jeremy kept explaining and begging, but my mouth just harbored a voice with no speech
“Two weeks after, Sofia came to my lodge unexpectedly, I wanted to give her the hottest slap with all my energy, my might and strength but I had to restrain myself, because it would mean she got to me”

“Malia I know you wanna tear me apart right now, and I won’t blame you if you do”
They stood at the corridor
“Sofia what do you want?”
“I came to say I’m really sorry. There’s no amount of excuse I can give right now that would make up for what I did. Even if you don’t want to forgive me, at least hear Jeremy out. I was the one that forced myself on him, in fact he pushed me away immediately. He did nothing wrong, please believe me” Sofia pleaded
“So you are here to beg me to give Jeremy a listening ear not that you came to apologize for what you did?”
“I know you might not want to forgive so I don’t want to spend this little chance I have talking to you to plead for myself. Jeremy loves you so much. I thought he still had feelings for me and he didn’t just know it so I wanted to be sure and he just made it clear to me. He truly loves you and wants something serious with you so please don’t ruin this because of something that’s solely my fault.”
“Sofia please leave”
“Jeremy is someone you can call my first love. I came to this college because I wanted to be with him and then I found out he is in love with another girl. You wouldn’t blame me for going down without a fight” Sofia’s voice had started mumbling
“You were right you know, the game is just for two, I forced myself into it, and I painfully failed. Now I’ve lost all my cards. Jeremy doesn’t even want to set his eyes on me” a tear streamed down Sofia’s eyes. “It’s obvious he really loves you, and Jeremy has done nothing wrong. I’ll keep off, I would have transferred again, but I can’t. So don’t worry, I am gonna stay off your sight. I won’t interfere. I promise”
Sofia turned to take her leave

“Why didn’t you call her back?” Tony asked Malia
“I didn’t know what to say if I did. At that moment, I was blank. I felt like I understood why she did what she did but I was still confused.”
“But after some days, I and Jeremy were in talking terms but I never told him what transpired between me and Sofia.”
“Do you know Sofia and Jeremy are still in talking term” Tony asked
“Of course…”
(Sofia)
“No matter what happens I would always respect Malia. Regardless of everything that happened, she always showed a sign of maturity. Even after what I did, she forgave me and trusted me. She gave me a second and allowed a pure friendship between I and Jeremy but with a strong threat” Sofia couldn’t help her laugh.
“For reals?” Alex laughed along “I won’t blame her. What was the threat?”
Sofia raised her hands in the air “I do not want to die mehn, so I am keeping my distance”
They both busted into laughter
“But to be honest, my feelings for Jeremy has gone down pretty well, I found someone else and I really like where it’s heading.”
“I am really happy for you. But I still have a pressing question…” Alex said
